GSBI® TECHNOLOGY ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR CHANGE (TECh) ACCELERATOR: SCALING TECHNOLOGY DRIVEN SOCIAL ENTERPRISES OPERATED BY TECH LAUREATES AND GSBI® ALUMNI.

Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship's acclaimed accelerator programs connect social entrepreneurs with Silicon Valley business executives to develop sustainable, scalable, market-based solutions that seek to end global poverty and protect the planet.

This new five-month program provides past Tech Award Laureates and GSBI® Alumni with a customized curriculum and mentored support designed to help overcome some of the most persistent barriers to scale such as navigating the impact investing ecosystem, building a team that can scale, and managing the governance of a growing organization.  TECh will also bring together Master-classes taught by active impact investors, curated industry intelligence, and access to Miller Center’s investor network to ensure participating organizations have the best possible chance of raising the investment they need to scale.

Benefits to selected social entrepreneurs:

  • PROVEN PROGRAM.  Experience Miller Center’s structured, validated curriculum that has helped over 800 social enterprises attain operational excellence and prepare for investment.

  • MENTORS. You will be accompanied by Silicon Valley mentors with expertise in innovation and entrepreneurship who are your trusted advisors

  • MASTER CLASSES.  Industry experts and practitioners will deliver focused, in-depth content on topics including tactical networking, corporate governance, and building a high-performing team. Investors will provide insights into their investment process so that you can ace your next investor meetings.

  • INVESTMENT FACILITATION. Miller Center staff will work with you to curate a shortlist of potential investors and develop a targeted outreach strategy to get you in the door. Mentors and staff will accompany you throughout the fundraising process and help prepare you for meetings, due diligence, and deal structuring

  • NO CHARGE.  All Miller Center GSBI® accelerator programs are offered at no charge to selected social enterprises.

We seek applicants who:

  • Are Tech Awards Laureates.

  • Lead an existing for-profit, nonprofit, or hybrid social enterprise in operation for three or more years.

  • Are willing to commit 3-6 hours per week to complete program deliverables and work with your mentors online.

  • Are within the next 12 months, looking to raise investment (grants, debt or equity) of between $100,000 and $5 million.
