Let's Provide Healthy Beginnings to Moms and Children in Sub-Saharan Africa

Miller Center, sponsored by GE's healthymagination commitment, congratulates the 14 alumni who participated in this unique program

14 Finalists, 6 African Countries, Amazing Impact

After rigorous scrutiny, 14 social enterprises were selected to be in the first cohort in the healthymagination Mother & Child program. All finalists will attend a three-day, in-person workshop in Nairobi, Kenya, followed by a six-month online accelerator program that includes weekly, in-depth mentoring from Silicon Valley-based executives who themselves have undergone rigorous selection and training as social entrepreneur mentors at Miller Center, as well as GE business leaders.

Miller Center's Commitment to Women Rising

Women and girls represent the majority of the world’s poor and have fewer paths out of poverty. Miller Center believes that investing in women and girls is the best way to eliminate poverty for everyone. Miller Center will leverage Silicon Valley mentors to empower sub-Saharan African social enterprises – and by extension their communities – with market-aligned skills training, economic development, and better maternal and child health outcomes.
